THE Best Flanders Tour

Went on this tour during our holiday last September. Tour guide was not only knowledgeable about the area and subject, but p***onate and energetic too, making for an excellent day out but with a personal touch. Would highly recommend over any other tours, all other tour groups looked bored out of their brains. P.S. I can also recommend the soup at the museum pit stop!

Flanders Field Trip

Hi Philippe We would like to say a big thank you for such a fantastic and informative tour we had with you on 22 April 2012. We all had a brilliant day, with the odd tear or two shed at times. WE would recommend this trip to anyone who is interested in WW1 and to those who know very little about what happened, it is so interesting. Thanks again

Awesome!!!!

Philippe, All I can say is Thank You! We had a wonderful time in Brugge and your tour was one of the highlights! What a wonderful way to get to know the delights of Belgium. We were able to experience the Belgium culture, history, food, chocolate, and beer in one day. Phillippe was funny, informative, p***onate, and proud! I would go back to Brugge just to go on a tour with him ( and the beer -OK, maybe he is a close send to the beer ;-) ). You can't go wrong! Thank you!

Flanders Fields Tour

Hi Philippe, I just wanted to thank you for an absolutely brilliant tour through Flanders fields. Recently my wife, son and I traveled from New Zealand to visit the battlefields and resting place of so many of our fine young men, Your informative description of the campaign in Belgium answered so many questions and gave us an insight into the realities of trench warfare. Thank you again for a day we will never forget.

Triple Treat Tour

To Philip Just wanted to say thanks for a great day on Monday. What an excellent guide, a perfect mix of informative fact, mixed with a huge dose of comic stories. Never realised the full history of the Flanders region but the day was really interesting. Your knowledge of WW1 was incredible. The fact that the belgian waffle was sooooo delicious, the belgian chocolates sooo tasty and the belgian beer so STRONG was a real bonus! The little extras were really well thought of..postcards, sharing the recipe book and reading through the latest version of Belgians Beers ( all 1250 of them) It was one of the highlights of our short break and only wish we'd had time to take the Flanders Trip. We are now pronouncing Brugge correctly...so that worked!! We will be recommending you to all our friends intending to visit your beautiful city. Thanks Thanks again

Flanders Field Tour

Dear Philippe and Sharon Thankyou for a great day we had with you on Sunday. Philippe your knowledge of World War 1 in Belgium can not be surpassed. We learnt so much from you, and the booklet you gave us will be very infromative for our grandchildren.Your customer service and care could not be better. If we ever come to Brugge again be assured you will be seeing us. Thanks Pat & Bryan

Dear Phillippe, We would like to thankyou for a most informative and sympathetic tour last Tuesday. You are clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about the whole history of such a devastating campaign. We got talking to another couple the follwoing day who we're going you on the Thursday. We told them that it was a tour that they wouldn't forget. Thankyou again. Clare & Ian Pennicott Oxfordshire

Battlefields Tour

Hi Philippe ( I would never call you Sir!!! ) Many thanks for a brilliant trip on Sunday 19th February it really was the highlight of our extremely enjoyable weekend break in your wonderful country. Polygon Wood, The Menin Road, Hill 60, Hell Fire Corner, The Yorkshire Trench, Es*** Farm and John McCrae and the memorial of the West Riding Regiment of course - just a few of the many things you talked about and showed us and which has helped to bring some understanding of the terrible events which took place almost a hundred years ago. Flanders Fields up until Sunday had been 'somewhere where grandad had been hit by shrapnel' It is now much, much more than that. Thank You.
