Mr & Mrs

Dear Phillipe, Thank you for such a brilliant informative day. The stops around Flanders were just right. Your knowledge was very impressive. This was a very humbling experience as so many lives were lost or changed for ever. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to both young and old. Kind regards Lesley & Stephen

Highly recommended!

We took the Flanders Fields tour in May and would recommend it to everyone. Philippe is so knowledgeable - it was the high-lite of our trip to Bruges. Bus was comfortable, the tour wasn't rushed, lunch was good. We both thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.

Our Tours with Philippe

We are very glad we chose to join two tours with Quasimodo. They were completely different in content and both packed with interest and very detailed commentary by the affable Philippe (all in perfect English). The bus was very comfortable, lunches were interesting and enjoyable. We warmly recommend Quasimodo Tours as "must dos" as part of any stay in Brugge.

Flanders Fields

We are the five English ladies who asked so many questions and enjoyed ourselves so much. We were so enlightened by your commentary and moved by the solemnity of the burying grounds, it will be a day we will never forget. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in paying respect to the fallen and learning how and why such a terrible war was fought.

Mrs

We did both of the tours with Philippe & Guy both days were wonderful in their own right. The Flanders fields tour was very informative and Philippe helped my husband locate a family name at Tyne Cot making the day extra special.Phillipes knowledge was *** he certainly knows his stuff. We decided to stay for the last post at the Menin gate, well worth it. The best of Bruges tour was totally different but still a great day. Both tours included a light lunch which was lovely and the best of Bruges tour also included a lovely Belgian waffle with hot chocolate sauce, very scrummy. Guy brought us all chocolates which we enjoyed! The beer tasting at the micro brewery was great. If you are visiting Bruges I would highly recommend both of these tours. Believe me you will have two wonderful days.

Flanders Fields Tour

We had a very informative day on this ambitious tour. Philippe knows his history and was an excellent tour guide. Good size group, comfortable bus. However, at times it felt a little rushed as there was so much to see at the numerous locations. Would still highly recommend it!!

Jennings Group

Our second visit with Quasimodo. We were so impressed the first time we have come on a return visit with six of our friends, who were all in agreement that Phillipe looked after his tour group extremely well & was a well informed guide who is p***onate about his subject .

Mr & Mrs M

Had an excellent tour of the WW1 battlefields with Phillipe. Comfortable coach, good size of group and a truly knowledgeable commentary. Really fleshed out our existing knowledge & showed us details we would never have found on our own. Nothing was too much trouble - including an extra stop for one couple to visit a relatives grave. Really worthwhile experience.

Mr and Mrs

We booked this tour purely on Trip Advisor recommendations - Quasimodo tours! It was a tour we both wanted to do during our visit to Bruges. The Flanders Battlefield Tour with QT is not to be missed. Philippe is an excellent tour guide, well informed and spoke with empathy when talking about speci*** events on the tour. Some humour was added, in the right places, to stop us all from sinking into the 'dark'. A full day, that didn't drag on. It certainly broadened our knowledge of the battles that took place in Flanders fields. Thanks Philippe. Regards Phil and Hilary Adams

Superb Trip

Well organised and informative tour. Philippe's commentary and knowledge ***. We stayed on in Ypres in evening for Menin Gate ceremony - well worth long day.
