Philippe took my wife Jan & myself on both the Belgium Countryside and the Battlefield tours. The countryside tour was great fun, Philippe is an excellent tour guide and the bus was very comfortable. As an ex Vietnam veteran I found the Battlefield Tour very moving with Philippe giving first class naration along the way. His research was very through. We stayed on for the Menin Gate last post ceremony which made the hair on the back of my head stand on end. The cab that was arranged was driven by a pleasant local who chatted with us all the way back to Brugge. We would give both tours a rating of four stars. Smart move Philipe to marry an Aussie. Good Luck to both of you, may your business florish. Greg & Jan Bowman

Enjoyed both tours with Philippe, a man best described as knowledgable, p***onate about Belgian history, humourous, and slightly sly when 'spinning a good yarn'. Philippe's Dutch jokes were well received (apology accepted!) and I have recovered from the trauma of seeing how much sugar he puts in his coffee.... Thank you for the fun triple treat tour and a special thanks for the Flanders Fields tour which still occupies my thoughts so many days later... I highly recommend both tours for those of you contemplating...

What an incredible combination - a superbly knowledgeable guide, with a great sense of humour and a wide variety of tour stops, and a lunch stop which was much more than food and drink! As a long-time "history buff" and retired history teacher I thought I knew a lot about World War I. Philippe put that to shame! Wow, what a thorough knowledge of the "Great War". The lunch stop was very special, with a p***onate presentation by someone who has a special project underway. It was easily one of the best history day tours I have ever been on.

A well-organised, informative and very moving tour of the Flanders Battlefields. Thank you Philippe for a first class experience, your knowledge and the sensitivity shown in imparting it were much appreciated. The highlight of our brief stay in Brugge. Thoroughly recommended.

The best day out

We spent an excellent day out with Phil on the Flanders Battlefields tour. As we are both serving military we had been looking forward to this trip and were not disappointed - Phil is a walking encylopedia and clearly enjoys sharing his knowledge. The facts and information he gave us throughout the trip was at times just too incredible to comprehend and made us realise just why WW1 really was so terrible. We were also lucky enough to stay and watch the Menin Gate ceremony and Phil kindly collected us and returned us to Bruges afterwards - it was a long day but one of the best days out we have ever had and certainly the highlight of our trip to Bruges. Thank you so much - we have already passed your details on to 2 friends who will be booking with you on a future trip.

Great tour!

We did the Triple Treat Tour with Phillipe. He picked us up close to our hotel in the comfy bus. He was very pleasant, friendly and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed each of the locations that he showed us. This tour was also the best value for a guided tour that we have had in Europe so far. Highly recommend!

Thanks Philippe for a great day out on your Best of Belgium Tour. We enjoyed seeing the countryside outside of Brugge and all the information you gave us was really interesting (when you weren't pulling our leg. You have a good sense of humour.) We would recommend your tour for anyone visiting Brugge. It was a really enjoyable day with good company.

The flanders field tour was fantastic. Thank you for an excellent trip. We could never have visited so many places in one day on our own and would have missed out on your in depth knowledge of each of the locations. Couldn't recommend this tour enough! Thanks again

Had a fantastic time

Thank you to Philippe for a wonderful tour of Flanders Fields during our visit to Brugge this weekend (3 August). Can't fault the tour -and Philippe was really informative - would definitely recommend. With best wishes Carol

Fantastic day

My friend and I went on the Flanders Field tour and added the Last Post ceremony. Everything went smoothly, from the pick up at the hotel, to the great information supplied by Phillipe at each stop, and lunch after the museum. They arranged for us and another pair to be taken back to Ypres where we had additional time to explore and eat before witnessing the moving Last Post ceremony. Phillipe was spot on about where to stand also and the taxi back to our hotels in Bruge was comfortable. Spent two weeks altogether in Belgium and France and this tour was most definitely one of the best highlights. We have already decided we will do the Triple Treat tour next time we are there!
